A pair of Giants in Buster Posey and Sergio Romo are both suffering from minor injuries that are leaving them sidelined.
Posey missed a second straight day after sustaining a bruised right foot from a foul tip on Sunday. The MVP may be out for the rest of the series against Colorado.
His backup, Trevor Brown, has started in his place and has done a fine job replacing Posey's bat, hitting two home runs on Tuesday and adding a multi-hit game tonight.
Sergio Romo is flying back to San Francisco to test his elbow. Romo, who was not available to pitch this evening, woke up today and said that he was feeling soreness in his right elbow.
More updates will be posted as these injuries continue to develop.
